Thanks.
I created the tmp dir and then found out that XEP will not convert gifs
due to patent issues. Once I used gif2png all was right with the world.
I didn't see any reference to image conversion issues in the
documentation (my search was far from comprehensive). Is there any
chance of that getting mentioned in a later release?
