    Gustaf,

    unless I misinterpret your explanation, the space around images is kept
    by your drawing application. XEP does not look inside to compute the bounding
    box, it just takes what is specified as the image's size.

    This is exactly the same thing as with raster images: XEP does not look inside
    bitmaps to find first meaningful pixel, it just insert the bitmap as a whole.
