Many thanks for the suggestion! I will try it today or tonight, but that
is precisely the kind of thing I would prefer to use. I am pretty thrilled
at the possibility (even though I completed the stylesheet last night to
build that external XML file that I assumed I'd have to build).
When I get the suggestion working, I'll confirm the approach and try to
post stylesheet fragments that are fully tested so perhaps others can
benefit from your suggestion, too.
