Yeah I didn't pay attention to what you said. I just changed it and
saw that there was more space without seeing what #8195 actually was.
I think it is collapsing the white-space, so all the spaces are showing up
as one space. Try putting each one as
<fo:character character=" "/>
and then see how it looks.
