Hello Andi,
You can edit hyphenation tables used by XEP in order to achieve
desired behavior. These tables located in 'hyphen' subdirectory.
In order to prevent/change hyphenation of certain words you can modify
list of exception words (it is normally located at the end of the file
after \hyphenation token) in the target hyphenation file.
