Hello Sebastian,
You can't tell XEP to ignore intrinsic image resolution. However you
have several options (in order of decreasing feasibility):
1. Set in irfan settings default resolution to be 120dpi - that is
image resolution used by XEP.
2. Save your images in another format that do not contain information
about resolution, e.g. GIF
3. Explicitly specify image dimensions (height/width) in pixels in
your XSL-FO.
Best regards,

SF> hi,
SF> i got an annoying problem.
SF> we are using a new tool to get our screenshots for a while.
SF> these screenshots are displayed very small by xep.
SF> i now noticed, that this tool saves a "resolution" of the image. (irfan-views image/information calls it like this)
SF> if i delete this "resolution-tag" the image is displayed in the size i expect (by xep)
SF> is there a way to tell xep not to use this resolution saved inside the image?
SF> hope you understand what i mean :)
SF> thx in advance,
