    RenderX cuts off string values specified for the 'keywords' meta-field at 255 characters. I guess it happens for the other
    meta-fields as well and quite appropriate IMO, as the PDF Spec 1.3 (Appendix H3, Implementation Notes) specifies in Note 94 "Acrobat
    viewers impose a limit of 255 bytes on any string appearing as a value in the document information dictionary".

    Although Acrobat 6.0 allows you to edit the value (making it, say, 1000 characters long will activate the scroll bar), when you save
    and re-open the PDF the 'keywords' value will be cut off again at 255 characters.

    As far as I read the PDF spec correctly (Table 8.2 in PDF 1.3), there is only one 'Keywords' entry.
