I'm investigating the use of XSL-FO to create fairly sophisticated data
tables in PDF. I looked at it a couple years ago, but it was too early.
I'm wondering if XEP can produce PDF tables that:
1. have an automatic cell-width based on content (supports
table-layout="auto").
2. have headers and footers that can be printed on each page
3. support an arbitrary-depth spanned header tree (see right three
columns of http://www.bls.gov/xg_shells/ro5xg01.htm
<http://www.bls.gov/xg_shells/ro5xg01.htm> )
4. support decimal-point alignment in a column.
Thank you,
Mark Thomas
