[xep-support] How works space-after.optimum

Hello,

can you explain how the space-after.optimum attribute in contrast to
space-after works?
I can solve a problem with the aditional .optimum, now i want to know if
there are any side-effects. We produce many thousend pages and it would be
much to expansive to check all the pages again. It would be very helpfull to
us if you can explain the algorithem a little bit.
