[xep-support] resolver for images

Hello,

is there a way to configure XEP to use a resolver that can be used to
resolves binary content such as images, referenced from
fo:external-graphic objects?

I'm searching for a solution, similiar to JAXP's URIResolver, but for
images inside an fo file.
