[xep-support] Automatic bold generation

Hello,
 
Some years ago (Christopher Wong, Feb. 25 2005), there has been a question about automatic bold generation of a font.
'I don't see how automatic bold generation is all that different in principle from automatic slanting, which XEP does support'
 
This question would be considered as a request for enhancement.
Has this request been approved, or denied?
