Hi,
We're trying to produce a PDF document with a link to an html file -
there are no issues when it's an http: URL but I can't seem to get it
to work for a file: based URL.
We're using FO of the form:
<fo:basic-link color="blue"
external-destination="file:///temp/test.html">
and
<fo:basic-link color="blue"
external-destination="file:///c:/appendix1.html"/>
We're using XEP 4.9.
The XEP documentation says:
"In XEP, URLs starting with explicit "file:"
protocol specification are rendered as PDF inter-document links. All
other links are treated as Internet URIs, and open in a browser. "
does this mean that there is no way to link to a local file other than
PDF files? I know that PDF supports this as I have produced and seen
other PDF documents that do this successfully.
All clarification or guidance would be appreciated.
Regards,
Justin.
