Thanks for your answer.
So I tried using <polygon> and it still didn't work.
<?xml version="1.0" standalone="no"?>
<!DOCTYPE svg PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD SVG 1.1//EN" "
http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/1.1/DTD/svg11.dtd">
<svg viewBox = "0 0 350 350" version = "1.1" xmlns="
http://www.w3.org/2000/svg">
<defs>
<linearGradient id="grad1" x1="50%" y1 ="0%" x2 ="50%" y2 ="100%">
<stop style="stop-color:rgb(255,255,255);stop-opacity:1" offset
= "0%"/>
<stop style="stop-color:rgb(100,100,100);stop-opacity:1" offset
= "100%"/>
</linearGradient>
</defs>
<polygon points="0,0 0,350 350,350 350,0" fill="url(#grad1)" />
</svg>
Can anyone help me please? What I'm trying to achieve is have a background
gradient for the page. I thought SVG would produce the best quality and
smallest file size. Any ideas?
