[xep-support] [SPAM] Character wrap in Japanese PDF

Dear support personel at RenderX,

I have a Japanese character wrapping issue in my PDF and I was looking for a solution to tweak the wrapping behavior in DITA-OT1.4.2.1 + XEP 4.14. I was seeking advice in the Yahoo dita-users ( http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/dita-users/message/19078 ,) and it seems other users are also looking for similar solution. Would you please advise how is the character wrapping done in RenderX?

We've been using a customized version of DITA-OT1.4.2.1 to create Japanese PDF using the Renderx engine for a while, but recently we found a character wrapping issue in the PDF, and I was wondering if anyone could shed some light.

Traditionally Japanese DTP speaking, when a punctuation or parenthesis character happens to be at the end of a line in a paragraph, there are some rules to wrap the characters. Below is an example of correctly wrapped paragraphs.

   $B$"!#$"$"$"(B
2. $B$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"!#(B

3. $B$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"(B
   $B!J$"$"$"$"(B
4. $B$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"!J$"(B

But at moment I'm getting the following in the PDF:

1. $B$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"(B
   $B$"!#$"$"$"(B
2. $B$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"!#(B
   $B$"$"$"(B
3. $B$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"!J(B
   $B$"$"$"$"(B
4. $B$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"$"!J$"(B

Notice that the punctuation marks are been handled correctly but the parenthesis character is not. Since the punctuation character is been handled correctly I was guessing that there might somewhere in DITA-OT to be configured, or maybe the PDF engine?
