1. XEP selects the first available font inside an alias.
2. XEP DOES not look over all fonts, when it encounters 'small-cap' definition.
XEP switch the font when and only when it cannot find a Unicode symbol for the character in the text.
So put LatinModernRoman as the first entry in the 'serif' alias or explicitly set LatinModernRoman font
family on the inline element.
