While the baseline-shift used in the supplied
answer gives the desired impact, there is a way
in XSL-FO to align the descendent text at the
bottom of the main text using explicit alignment
properties which may be more "proper" (if people
don't judge me as being pedantic):
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><!--daniel.fo-->
<root xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Format"
font-family="Times" font-size="20pt">
<layout-master-set>
<simple-page-master master-name="frame"
page-height="297mm" page-width="210mm"
margin-top="15mm" margin-bottom="15mm"
margin-left="15mm" margin-right="15mm">
<region-body region-name="frame-body"/>
</simple-page-master>
</layout-master-set>
<page-sequence master-reference="frame">
<flow flow-name="frame-body">
<block>
<inline>Lorem ipsum </inline>
<inline font-size="70%" font-style="italic"
border-top="1pt dotted black" text-align="center"
padding-left="5mm" padding-right="5mm"
alignment-baseline="after-edge"
alignment-adjust="before-edge">imie i nazwisko</inline>
<inline> lorem ipsum.</inline>
</block>
</flow>
</page-sequence>
</root>
I hope this is helpful.
