Lori,
I have successfully rendered an XML FO file (x.fo) into PDF even when that
XSL FO file is over 13MB in size. (The resulting PDF was 11MB). Thus,
size alone isn't the problem. In my case, I had to increase my Windows
2000 virtual memory to over 2GB to do the XSLT transformation from XML into
XSL FO, but it nonetheless rendered just fine.
